Tom Felton has addressed relationship rumours from Emma Watson and the equations of other cast members, including Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint from Harry Potter.
Days after his Harry Potter co-star, Evanna Lynch, intimated that he and Emma Watson triturated each other on set, Tom Felton talked about a long-lasting love relationship with Emma Watson.
In the Harry Potter movie, he was playing Draco Malfoy, while Emma was playing Hermione Granger.
In an interview, the actor revealed that he and Emma have been ‘really close’ for a long time and communicate often.
He told reporters that, “If that makes sense, we are something. For a long period, we were close. I love her. I love her. She’s awesome, I think. Hopefully, the compliment will be returned.”
“I think it’s a Slytherin/Gryffindor thing as far as its romantic side is concerned, rather than Tom and Emma,” he continued. “The world of her, I believe absolutely. I think that we all belonged to, but it was amazingly wonderful for her to be the single girl, definitely the smallest girl in history, to grow up with her. But no, I think it’s a great influence over the world. You’re going to get me to get teary now.”
He also chatted with other cast members like Daniel Radcliffe, Harry, and Rupert Grint, Ron Weasley. He also talked about his equation. “We remain in contact, very often… It’s good because we’re in the kind of four corners of the world, and yet when we catch up, it looks like it was all happening yesterday.”
Evanna, who played Luna Lovegood in the movies, expressed sorrow that the action was missed as she joined the cast after ‘the whole drama’ had taken place earlier this week. “[I joined when] everybody grew from the crushes and moved on to like individuals outside the planet, she told reporters.
And I felt like that, dang, all the drama I missed! According to several tales, the last movie was entertaining. But no, they all matured, and those hormones calmed down when I got there.”
It was many years ago that Emma acknowledged he had a crush on Tom. She said 17 in 2011, “I had a major crush on Tom Felton for the first two films. My first crush. It was my first. He knows it entirely. We’ve been talking about it – we’re still laughing. Now we are excellent friends, and it’s cool.” In 2019, they launched rumour mills with an Instagram post.
