Paul Ashdale (Reece Dinsdale) perished following an explosion during the wedding barn and is therefore confirmed as the casualty of Emmerdale’s stunt week. In tonight’s edition of the ITV soap, the abuser was seen facing Liv Flaherty’s (Isobel Steele) wrath. Liv made a decision to have it out with the bully after realizing the fact that Paul had been assaulting Vinny (Bradley Johnson).
Paul decided to get hold of Liv and assault her in harrowing and violent scenes as Liv was hellbent on letting the truth come out before the wedding and exposing him entirely. On the other hand, Jimmy King (Nick Miles) has been in his truck on the way back to his village during this while but he, unfortunately, veered off the rood upon being blinded by the light and crashed into the wedding barn.
This accident knocked both Liv and Paul unconscious. Liv attempted to figure out what had happened but soon found Paul around. Amidst the crash, a few beams had collapsed and she found him under some of them. She realized that his legs had been broken and he couldn’t move.
Paul then began begging to her to save his life and initially, she did get into it for Vinny’s sake. However, there was another fascinating shot that was played by the makers: Fire!!
Fire broke out in the barn and just before the whole place went up in the smoke, she managed to hightail it out there. All three, Liv, Paul, and Jimmy were taken to the hospital immediately where Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) was seen weeping, heartbroken, being there by Paul’s side while the doctors announced him dead.
