How many of us have watched the Fantastic Beasts series? If yes, then we know what the story is like. The newest season seems to take an usually longer break, the third season’s release has been pushed to mid 2022. Gellert Grindelwald will continue to be the villain whereas Mads Mikkelsen takes over Johnny Depp’s part.
The movie has a lot of problems which the newest season will have to solve says the viewers, let’s have a look at those.
Firstly, it needs to decide whose story it will tell, originally the biggest problem has been that of the identity crisis. Many movies have been very successful because of their proper concept and story, but here in the Fantastic Beasts: The crimes of Grindelwald, it was found that Grindelwald though appeared from the first didn’t appear towards the end. Moreover the story was less about fantastic beasts and more about the following Wizarding War.
The Next problem is related to the Credence Barbone or Aurelius Dumbledore Twist. The movie was shifting it’s focus from the main subplot as it was over-stuffed with other subplots. Moreover the audience is not given proper time and space to get invested with the various ideas.
Also, Mads Mikkelsen is the third person to get re casted as Gellert Grindelwald, actually fourth if we count Jamie Bower who is sometimes seen in the flash backs, the new season will have to explain Grindelwald’s appearance. Though this is not a very difficult task for the makers, the re-casting will also act as an opportunity to bring out a more well-defined villain in Grindelwald’s character.
