At that time Tom Cruise was also ready to play the lead and Paramount Pictures were all set for the work but it didn’t saw any development. After almost 8 years, Netflix has shown its interest in the movie and bought all the rights so it is fixed that The Adam Project will stream on the streaming giant Netflix.

Under the direction of Shawn Levy, we will see Ryan Reynolds playing the lead role. We will also witness some major actors from Hollywood contribute by their actions in the movie.
The production work for the movie was started post-pandemic in November 2020 and recently on 3rd March 2021, Ryan has shared the great news with his fans. He has told that the shooting of the film has been wrapped up. Netflix has got a new trend of sharing teasers for the movies going to be released this year and if the trend goes on there is no doubt that we will get a teaser for The Adam Project very soon.

Unfortunately, there is no official announcement regarding the release date of the movie. We can expect to watch the movie in the second half of 2021 as the filming has already been completed. Netflix knows well to release the movie when fans need new content.
