The audience didn’t get enough time to get over the second season and the period drama Bridgerton has already been confirmed for a third and fourth season already. Such is the global-dominating success of the most lovable show on Netflix that premiered on the streaming giant on Christmas Day, 2020.
As soon as the show took off, it took no time in becoming the streaming service’s most watched show in a debut month in its entire history. The new season not only managed to adore its existing actors like Jonathan Bailey and Nicola Coughlan but also made stars of lead actors like Phoebe Dynevor and Rege-Jene Page.
The show is based on the works of the novels written by Julia Quinn. It became massively popular among fans due to which the show was renewed for yet another season (second season) in no time. And now there’s good news for fans as it won’t be the last one you will all get to witness. Two more seasons are yet to be adored before you!
The award-winning show has been confirmed for both the seasons by Netflix officially on April 13, 2021. In addition to that streaming giant’s word, an additional word was passed by Lady Whistledown in the typical Bridgerton style and Shonda Rhimes also gave away a statement regarding the show’s renewal.
Shonda Rhimes is behind the TV adaptation of Bridgerton and has also had a magnificent experience in Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy, and more!
When it comes to the show’s plot, nothing much has been revealed by the authorities but we do know that the show would follow the order of the novels. The first season was based on Daphne Bridgerton (Dynevor) whereas the second one was based on Lord Anthony Bridgerton’s quest for love and the third one would follow the same rule.
