Everything you need to know about ‘The Informer’


Pete Koslow, played by Joel Kinnaman, has decided to go back in himself, in a world of crime, as an undercover FBI informant to infiltrate the mob. Due to massive demand, the 2019 British film is coming out on video and here’s everything you need to know about the solid, impactful crime thriller.

The Informer is scheduled to release on November 6, 2020.


The Informer is an adaptation from Roslund & Hellstrom’s novel Three Seconds wherein the protagonist of the film, Pete Koslow, intentionally throws himself into a high-security prison as he is working as an undercover FBI informant to infiltrate a collection of some dangerous Britain drug dealers. However, things turn wildly for Koslow as he is thrown under the bus by his FBI handlers. 


The film’s lead Pete Koslow will be played by Joel Kinnaman who is well-known for his roles in The Killing, Suicide Squad, and For all Mankind. Rosamund Pike would be playing the role of an FBI agent to whom Pete Koslow would be reporting. Her character’s name is Erica Wilcox and Pike will be seen playing it absolutely well as she is well-known for her roles in Pride and Prejudice, Gone Girl, and Die Another Day. Audiences have plenty of expectations from her role.

A corrupt FBI agent, Montgomery’s role will be played by Clive Owen who is infamous for his roles in The Children of Men, American Crime Story, and Closer.
