There’s no doubt in the fact that pirates have remained to be a staple of pop culture over the years from the Pirates of the Caribbean to the latest famous online video game named Sea of Thieves. Fans are easily attracted to these wily pirates who act as seafaring warriors in their subsequent adaptations. With that being said, it’s not just the fictional life that has experienced pirating – the same was witnessed in real-life too, rather as a historical occupation.
These countless fictional pirate stories have risen as pirates were pretty common in the 1700s – that being their golden age giving birth to the likes of Anne Bonny, Blackbeard, and other magnificently well-known figures in the community. Such dramatic reenactments of historical events was given a stage in March 2021 with Netflix’s The Lost Pirate Kingdom.
The show is focused on letting us know about the golden age of piracy along with credible narration from historians. The series premiered on the March of 15th and all of its six episodes were then released by the streaming giant. The second season has now been in the talks and here’s a good deal of stuff we know so far.
Netflix hasn’t provided enough information to discuss the fact of yet another season of The Lost Pirate Kingdom. The future of the series is yet to be determined. However, the strength of the first season’s numbers is immense. So much so that at one point in time, the first season also managed to make a spot for itself in the top five most-watched series on the streaming service.
If this continues, then there’s no doubt in the fact that the streaming giant would be forced to renew the show for yet another compelling season! Furthermore, no official announcement has been made as of now regarding the cast members reprising their roles in the upcoming season.
