Here’s some good news for the fans of Euphoria as the show has now been confirmed to be returning with yet another season (Season 2). This American adaptation of an Israeli series that has been featuring on the HBO would be following a group of high school students as they navigate through themselves and realize the trials and tribulations of teen life.
They explore everything from rage, love, identity, sex, drugs, and everything that comes in between their attracted high level praise from both critics as well as viewers. The series premiere has been watched by more than 5.5 million viewers across the HBO platform. In fact, the executive vice president of HBO programming, Francesca Orsi told The Hollywood Reporter that an incredible world has been created by Sam Levinson, who is the creator of Euphoria.
In addition to that, the extraordinary cast was also praised which is being led by the supremely talented Zendaya. The vice president further expressed gratitude to have chosen their platform for this groundbreaking series. When it comes to the lead actress, Zendaya, she said that she does miss being Rue as now she feels like being an elder sister to Rue.
Colman Domingo (Ali) told Digital Spy in November 2020 that things would be falling into place once production kickstarts which was on the hold due to the coronavirus pandemic. Otherwise, the filming process had been already in the lines, last year itself. March 16 was supposed to be the date of shoot, according to Zendaya who informed the team of Variety. However, lockdown spoiled it for the team.
