Faith is given an ultimatum by Eric Pollard in Friday’s episode of Emmerdale, which airs at 7pm on ITV (see our TV Guide for full listings).
Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) has gotten himself into a lot of problems with Brenda (Lesley Dunlop). When Brenda saw Faith swanning around Pollard’s house in his bathrobe and stormed off without waiting for an explanation, the couple were just about to get their relationship back on track…
Faith has been suffering some concerning symptoms and is afraid that the cancer she had five years ago, which resulted in a double mastectomy, has returned. Brenda is unaware of this.
Faith has had an MRI and is awaiting the findings to know what she is dealing with before telling anybody about what has been going on. Pollard is the only other person who knows what’s going on, other from GP Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker), and he’s been there for her, Faith was even allowed to remain at Pollard’s place, where she could enjoy all of the amenities that come with residing in a house rather than a draughty old hearse! Chas (Lucy Pargeter) also walked in on the bathrobe incident and got the short end of the stick, so she has no idea what her mother is going through behind her mother’s back.
Cain (Jeff Hordley), Faith’s son, seldom speaks to her these days given her role in keeping the truth that Nate Robinson was his son a secret for so long.
Cain has kept Faith at arm’s length as a result of her treachery, but might the news that his mother may be suffering a life-threatening disease bring them closer together after all this time? Emmerdale returns to ITV on Monday, July 5th, at 7 p.m. Because of the Euro 2020 football matches, air dates may be subject to change at any time; consult our TV Guide for complete listings and additional information.
