Utopia is a mystery series following a group of people who met via the Internet and end up discovering a secret book that seemed to hold all the answers to the disasters which happened last century.

But on the downside, a secret organization called “The Network” starts hunting them.

The show was a massive hit and got a whopping score of 8.4/10 on IMDb and a 93% average audience score. Though the show was canceled in 2014 itself, it has recently gained massive popularity.

It is a sci-fi thriller show following how the life of Joe and his wife Laura changes when he rebuilds a higher-end robot Synth to help with the household works. The show has a 94% average audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

12 monkeys (#3)

The show features how a time traveler from 2043 comes back to save the world from a deadly pandemic. In order to do that, he has to find and contain the twelve monkeys who are supposed to be the carrier of the disease. The show has an average audience score of 88% on Tomatometer.

Containment (#4)

This show premiered four years ago but has hit so close to home too. The story follows a lockdown in the city when an epidemic breaks out in Atlanta. Lex Carnahan, has to save both people close to him (his girlfriend and best friend) along with other people. The show has a score of 7.2/10 on IMDb.

Even as a little girl, I was fascinated by words. The idea of stringing words together to form meaningful sentences which could alter the emotions of other human beings excited me. At first I wrote fiction. It gave me a chance to live the different lives I’ve always wanted to. The way my friends reacted when they read my story gave me the greatest of joys. As I grew older, I realised that there are thousands of stories of people around me that deserved to be told. Then I started incorporating their stories to my fictional stories.
