Fast and Furious is easily one of the most famous and successful movie franchises of all time. The first movie of the franchise was released two decades ago and since then the fandom has seen a steady growth.

Seven new sequels have been added to the franchise already and the ninth movie, which was originally announced to be released this year (the delay is due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic), will hit the theatres by May 2021.

What we know about the ending of the franchise?

We have seen the franchise grow so much that it has facilitated numerous spin-offs including an animated show. But the main movie streak will soon come to an end.

Earlier this year, Vin Diesel confirmed that there will be a ninth movie. It has been confirmed that after F9, a final movie will be released in a two part instalment and the franchise will come to an end, much like other famous movie series like Hunger Games and Harry Potter.

Originally, the tenth movie was supposed to be released by 2021 but due to the delay, we can expect the franchise to go on for at least four more years.

What are the future plans of the franchise?

We know that Hans will be returning next year and Gal Gadot’s character is assumed to be returning too. The chance of having an all girls movie is in the air too!

Even as a little girl, I was fascinated by words. The idea of stringing words together to form meaningful sentences which could alter the emotions of other human beings excited me. At first I wrote fiction. It gave me a chance to live the different lives I’ve always wanted to. The way my friends reacted when they read my story gave me the greatest of joys. As I grew older, I realised that there are thousands of stories of people around me that deserved to be told. Then I started incorporating their stories to my fictional stories. Over the time, I leaned more towards article writing. I have always felt that writing is my super power. A power I could wield to bring joy and comfort to me and the people I care about.
