One of the most famous franchises is back with another action-packed movie, with all new locations and stunts but when can we watch the movie? Let’s find out!
Fast & Furious 9 will be directed by Justin Lin and is written by Daniel Casey and is the ninth installment in the Fast & Furious franchise. Fast & Furious 8 premiered in April 2017 and a spinoff to the series called Hobbs And Shaw was released in 2019. The movie will be similar to others in the franchise and will be an action movie following Dom and his crew as they try to stay out trouble which doesn’t always work out.
News About The Release Date And Trailer
The movie was originally supposed to be released on May 22, 2020, and a trailer was released for the movie as well (which you can watch on YouTube after reading our article). However, the release was postponed as the situation was getting worse due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The makers decided to push the date by almost a year and the new release date for the movie is April 2, 2021.
Cast
The new movie has a lot of surprises for us. We will be seeing the old crew back in action with Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz, Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges as Tej Parker, Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey and we will see Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto. We will also see John Cena as Jakob Toretto who is Dom and Mia’s brother and a return of Sung Kang as Han Lue who was originally believed to be dead.
Storyline And Is Han Back To Life?
As we saw in the trailer Dom and Mia’s Brother Jakob played by John Cena who is a master thief, assassin, and a high-performance driver is working with Dom’s old enemy Cipher who is after Dom and his crew. We also saw Jakob facing off against Dom in the trailer so we might see the rivalry between the brothers as well. The return of Han was one of the biggest surprises of the trailer. We saw Han’s car being crashed in Fast & Furious 3 so how he is back from dead we still don’t know. It would be interesting to find out how he got saved and where was he all this time.
