All of us probably know about Robert Downey Jr for his iconic role of Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And for those who particularly know about this, would also be knowing that he has abandoned the role after his character’s death in Avengers: Endgame. This can be heart-touching and very emotional for Marvel fans but do you know what is more interesting and amazing?
He will be undertaking yet another comic-book project with the competition. It will be an adaptation of a DC comic which he would be executive producing for Netflix, the trailer of which has already been out. The show has been titled Sweet Tooth. Downey would be executive producing the show along with his wife Susan Downey and their production company Team Downey.
The series would consist of eight parts encircling the story of a young boy, Gus (played by Legion star Christian Convery), who has been half born human and the other half a deer. He has been raised in the woods and grows up to find out that the world has been torn apart by a cataclysmic event.
The emergence of hybrids just like Gus began due to the tension that was put into execution 10 years ago when the Great Grumble wreaked havoc. We are not really sure whether the hybrids are the result or the cause of the virus spread but surely enough, these novel characters are not safe in this new world.
A pioneer character would also be given limelight in the series which would be played by Once Upon A Time’s Dania Ramirez. She will be taking over the character of Aimee who is on a mission of rebuilding a new society and giving orphaned hybrids a safe home.
