It’s hard to imagine Gwen Stefani’s smash-hit album “The Sweet Escape” was published 15 years ago. If you forgot, the singer made a point of reminding her fans of the significance of December 1st.
“Happy 15th birthday to my second solo album!!” she said on Instagram, with photographs from the album’s cover shoot.
She also discussed the significance of “The Sweet Escape,” describing it as “such a milestone in my career.” Stefani said, “I hope it’s still feeding ur sweet craving all these years after.” It was certified platinum in 2007 and debuted at number three on the Billboard 200.
Gwen has mostly concentrated on television work in recent years, including serving as a mentor and judge on The Voice, where she met her husband Blake Shelton.
The mom-of-three has three boys with her ex-husband, Apollo, seven, Zuma, thirteen, and Kingston, fifteen, and she recently used the chance to put Zuma in the forefront, tweeting a photo of the adolescent grinning from ear to ear with his eyes closed in delight as Ariana Grande planted a kiss on his face.
Gwen and Gavin’s middle kid may not be visible on Instagram as frequently as his boys, but his parents are as fond of him, and they both made a big deal out of his 13th birthday.
Gavin commented with a video of Zuma demonstrating his amazing boxing skills: “My loveliest kid, @zuma rossdale21, turns 13 today.
