Haikyuu is a Japanese animated teleserial aired on April 6, 2014. The story is written and illustrated by Haruichi Farudate, which revolves around Shoyo Hinata, and his school volleyball team. Shoyo Hinata is a short heighted guy hiving really high ambitions. Even though he is not a usual heighted guy, his dreams shot to the sky since the day he saw another short heighted guy named “Small Giant” playing in National Championships.
Although Hinata managed to pull a few players for his first volleyball team, who got crushed in their first match itself which was led by Tobio Kageyama. Luckily, Hinata got enrolled in the same school in which his role model once used to play and he was really happy that he would get his shot to join the school Volleyball team here, but there is one problem.
Even Kageyama got enrolled in the same school with his high reputation as one of the best players among the batch. Can Hinata rise up to his expectation and stare in the eyes of Kageyama?
Well, Hinata gets selected in the team and the Karasuno High School Volleyball team and finally won their way into the Nationals after an intense battle for Miyagi Prefecture Spring tournament qualifiers. Now, this is the twist in the story of Hinata playing along with Kageyama and not against him and eyeing to the top.
The Season 4 got aired on January 10, 2020. Ever since then the teleserial is making new highs in terms of viewership. Season 4 was planned to be released in two parts, out of which the first part has already been successfully aired and got widely accepted. The 4th season takes a twist when Hinata begins to feel left behind, as Kageyama and Tsukishima were invited for a training camp and he wasn’t.
Now Hinata gets desperate about him not getting invited, and finally, with the help of Tsukishima, he gets another chance to play in free practice matches and to impress the seniors with his skills and abilities. On the last day of training, Hinata is all set to make a strong impression on everyone. On the other hand, Kayegama is enjoying to train with highly skilled players, but struggling from his confrontation with Atsumu.
The last practice match is against Date Tech, and the Karasuno School team is already struggling to make an impression yet. Also, Kageyama seems to have a change in his behavior. Already with Kageyama struggling, in the eight set Karasuno begins with Hinata blending in for the attack. After the exciting game, the Karasuno team is sent to Tokyo for Nations Tournament, and its nerves and excitement are already on the rise and the players prepare for their first big game.
The second part of season 4 is all set to arrive with new excitements and further nail-biting storyline on July 4, 2020. It is for sure that viewership is all set to rise and break all bars. Just wait and watch.
