The third season teaser for Amazon Prime’s ‘Hanna’ aired on Sunday at New York Comic-Con. The first six one-hour episodes of the show will air on November 24.
Ray Liotta, as previously reported, has joined the cast for Season 3 as Gordon Evans, a recognized former military officer and intelligence operative with great insider influence, according to Deadline.
Evans sees himself as a visionary with a strict moral code, a real patriot willing to go to any length to preserve his nation.
This season will follow Hanna, a remarkable young lady played by Esme Creed-Miles who was created by the nefarious organization Utrax and groomed to be an assassin.
Hanna is now covertly attempting to dismantle Utrax from inside in order to release herself from its clutches, with the assistance of her erstwhile adversary, former CIA operative Marissa Wiegler (Mireille Enos).
They had persuaded high-ranking Utrax agent John Carmichael (Dermot Mulroney) to help them with their objective. Her fellow teenage assassins, Sandy (Aine Rose Daly) and Jules (Gianna Kiehl), as well as new adversaries, are beginning to suspect Hanna’s scheme.
As Hanna approaches her objective, she discovers not only a world-changing plan but also the actual force behind Utrax, which stands between her and freedom. Around a panel at NYCC today,
‘Hanna’ executive producer Tom Coan stated that the program was created with two goals in mind: “to be more complex and dynamic, and that was the centerpiece on which everything was constructed… we operated on the concept of trying to make it as entertaining as possible.”
