Okay, Tom Hardy aficionados. We’re sure you’ve heard about a forthcoming action drama featuring the actor most recognised for his appearances in The Dark Knight Rises, Venom, and Peaky Blinders.
Havoc is the first film to be produced and directed by Gareth Evans, the director of The Raid trilogy. Evans inked an exclusive contract with Netflix to develop and direct films for the platform.
Hardy, who is no stranger to crime dramas, will be mixing it up with criminals while dealing with high-level government corruption. Although there isn’t much information on Havoc yet, here’s what we do know and when you can expect to add it to your Netflix watch queue.
Havoc – Release Date
The release date for this crime thriller has yet to be determined. IMDb doesn’t even include Havoc’s release year. That, however, should not be surprising. Netflix’s list of forthcoming original films for 2021 does not contain the film. However, there is some good news to tell. Based to What’s On Netflix, filming will begin in late June, primarily in Wales. While it’s unlikely that Havoc will launch on Netflix in 2021, it looks that a premiere in 2022 is possible.
Havoc – Cast Members
We’re currently in the early phases of the film’s production, so we’re simply looking at a two-person cast for now. As a Hardy-directed film, we anticipate the main guy to portray the detective who is the focus of Havoc.
However, because his character is presently unnamed, we will refer to him as the investigator for the time being. Forest Whitaker just joined the picture as a co-star, although no information about his character has been disclosed.
We may assume that he’ll play the politician to Hardy’s investigator, but there’s not much else to go on at this moment. What we do know is that these two leading ladies will undoubtedly complement one other. We’ll have to wait and see if this is as allies or as two individuals on opposing sides.
Havoc – Storyline
The title of this next Netflix thriller does, in fact, give away the plot. Following a botched drug transaction, a detective fights the criminal underworld to save the life of a politician’s kid, which uncovers a deepening network of corruption and conspiracies that has engulfed the entire city.
Havoc will be produced by Gareth Evans for One More One Productions in conjunction with Ed Talfan of Severn Screen, Aram Tertzakian of XYZ Films, and Tom Hardy, and will include an exciting plot and an excellent ensemble.
Havoc – Trailer
Havoc does not yet have a trailer. We’ll keep you updated on any further developments with the film. Stay tuned, action enthusiasts; we’re confident you won’t be disappointed by what this film has in store for you!
