What is Echo all about?
Echo, also known as Maya Lopez, is the niece of Kingpin, one of Marvel Comics’ most infamous villains. We’ve previously seen the backstory in Hawkeye Episode 3, in which Ronin murders her father in Hong Kong during the events of Avengers: Infinity War.
Inside the Hawkeye series, she tracks out her father’s killer and teams up with Clint Barton and Kate Bishop, knowing they can lead her to Ronin.
As we’ve previously seen in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Echo’s relationship with underworld operators like Kingpin and Sharon Carter will be intriguing to observe.
