Henry Cavill is easily the most famous Superman of the last decade. He has played the role of the legendary superhero in three films- Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Justice League and got the major breakthrough that helped him be a part of other major films such as Enola Holmes and Mission Impossible.

The latest film featuring Superman, Justice League (2017) did not do well and was quite a flop. Following the film’s failure, it was said that Henry Cavill will no longer play Superman.

The main reason for the movie doing poorly is the non-involvement of Zack Snyder, the American film director who directed Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. But he had to take a break following his daughter’s suicide.

But five months ago it was announced that there is going to be a remake of Justice League directed by Zack Snyder. On August 23, 2020 the official teaser of the Snyder Cut was released. In that video you could hear Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah playing in the background. The song was Snyder’s late daughter’s favourite and fans were heart melted when they learnt this detail.

When the Hollywood Reporters asked Cavill about the film, he replied, “They are doing their own thing out there, putting the movie together from the footage they shot,” he said. “I’ve not been to comms with them about it.” But fans are sure that he will be making his return as Superman for this film!

Even as a little girl, I was fascinated by words. The idea of stringing words together to form meaningful sentences which could alter the emotions of other human beings excited me. At first I wrote fiction. It gave me a chance to live the different lives I’ve always wanted to. The way my friends reacted when they read my story gave me the greatest of joys. As I grew older, I realised that there are thousands of stories of people around me that deserved to be told. Then I started incorporating their stories to my fictional stories. Over the time, I leaned more towards article writing. I have always felt that writing is my super power. A power I could wield to bring joy and comfort to me and the people I care about.
