Jomonte Suvisheshangal Movie Plot Details
Jomon is the third, self-creating businessman, widow Vincent’s reckless son. The plot, set in Thrissur and focused on the relationship between the father and the child, revolves around the Vincent family. Vincent, who loves his son, constantly tries to inculcate a sense of duty in him, to be failed only.
Jomon loves Catherine, whom he meets during his Sunday Mass in the church on his aunt’s insistence. Vincent also places Jomon in charge of the gentle wear store to make his son feel mature. Jomon sells it to the store manager, to Vincent’s dismay, but for $40 lakh. Jomon sold the shop, along with his costly motorcycle, to invest in a Thiruppur textile store and to join his friend Mushtaq as its managing partner.
In the meantime, Vincent is facing a financial crisis. All his belongings are lost and expelled from his home. He joins Jomon in Thiruppur, left by all other family members to live a simple and modest life. Because of the current financial constraints of the family, Jomon has to end his relationship with Catherine. The life of Jomon in Thiruppur is just as tumultuous as Mushtaq’s lavish lifestyle is failing the new business venture.
He begins to work as a seller for a textile company, where he becomes an accountant at a textile company Vaidehi, whom he visits on an entrepreneurial level. A tailor, Vincent, who also has problems adapting to the new lifestyle, finances his expensive cigarette smoking. Jomon and Mushtaq, along with Vaidehi, succeed in constructing a new sector business after a series of setbacks in their business.
Soon, Jomon will purchase the old house of Vincent, and the family gathers new lesson. In the end it is revealed that Jomon fell in love with Vaidehi (who only assumed that his son knew about money and relationships, but not with him).

Jomonte Suvisheshangal Movie Critical Review
S.R. Praveen from The Hindu wrote, “This is the version Sathyan Anthikkad of what you saw in Jacobinte Swargarajyam which is similarly named: it is about the chemistry of the father and the son. The Indian newspaper has published three out of five stars, stating that “Jomon’s storey may indeed be a big hit for the segment of the audience for those who are concerned with elements like family feelings, human characteristics of endurance and the parent-child relationship.
India gave today 3 of five stars saying that “The delightful story of Jomonte Suveshishangar is high. The film itself is one of the long journeys that you’d take with a song called Yesudas.’
“Jomonte Suviseshangal is a typical Sathyan Anthikad film, and old wine served in a new bottle of familiar and predictable history. Anu James of the International Business Times writes. However, he’s a good-looking entertainer, well handled by Dulquer and Mukesh, teaching us that you can’t taste success in every respect, for you have to face ups and downs in your life.”
“Jome Suveshishangal is one of Iqbal Kuttippurama’s delightful films,” the Indian Expression gave 3 out of 5 stars. The film tells of the uplifting journey of Dulquer Salmaan’s title character. As father and son, Mukesh and Dulquer are enjoyable.” IndiaGlitz gave four of 5 stars who declared, “This is Dulquer’s film, and he performed well and generously.
Songs add to the film and are only available where appropriate. Frames are excellent, and edits colour them. ‘Jomonte Suvisheshangal’ is a fun film that shouldn’t be missed. Amen!”
More Details
Main photography started in Thrissur in August 2016. The second programme was launched in Tirupur on 21 October. The other place was Pollachi.
Vidyasagar, with texts by Rafeeq Ahammed, composes the music and scoring for the movie. For the third time, Vidyasagar works with Sathyan Anthikad. On 2 December 2016, Muzik247 released the complete album on its official YouTube channel. Three songs were in the movie.
The first release was scheduled for 16 December 2016, but the release was subsequently postponed to date. Jomonte Suvisheshangal was released by Kerala on 19 January 2017. On 1 February 2017, the Dubai film was announced.
Jomonte Suvisheshangal has been collected worldwide to produce 43,67 crore gross.
Andamaina Jeevitham version of Telugu was released for streaming on the Amazon Prime Video.
