Season four is reportedly in the works, with filming set to begin soon. As far as I know, Netflix has been very quiet about all of these [production updates] – so I’m afraid to say anything for fear of upsetting them. But, according to my knowledge, it will happen soon.
However, the streamer hasn’t verified anything yet. Previously restored series, including The Society and I Am Not Okay With This, were originally renewed before being axed, so no programme is safe from Netflix’s wrath. If the rumours about a fourth season are genuine, new episodes should be available by the end of 2022.
Alexandra Breckenridge, Martin Henderson, Colin Lawrence, Lauren Hammersley, Tim Matheson, Annette O’Toole, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Zibby Allen, Sarah Dugdale and Grayson Gurnsey are joining the cast of the show.
Sadly, after season three, Lilly (Lynda Boyd) lost her battle with colon cancer and passed away. However, Boyd had indicated that there had been discussions about having her character to life for season 4.
Virgin River ended season three with many unanswered mysteries, and these will continue to shape the drama in the future. Mel is expecting a kid, but it’s unclear if it’ll be Jack’s. There’s a possibility that her late husband Mark is the child’s biological father. Is there any hope for the couple if the child is not born to Jack?
When Jack finally got down on one knee, Mel’s pregnancy announcement cut his proposal short. Hope is still in the hospital, and in the finale, she acquired a fever, so she’s not out of the traps just yet. Season three lacked O’Toole’s character due to Covid’s interference. The next several episodes of Grey’s Anatomy should include Doc and Hope renewing their vows.
Brady was taken into custody after the police discovered the gun used to shoot Jack inside his truck. Brady also has Calvin’s ear, as Calvin wants Brady to turn a blind eye to his marijuana business so it can continue uninterrupted. If Calvin’s suppliers aren’t paid, they’ll take legal action against Brady. Brie and Mel’s emotional exchange revealed that Jack’s sister had been raped in Sacramento, and her miscarriage resulted from that night.
She also admitted to Mel that she planned to leave town, but will she stay for Brady’s sake? Tod, Charmaine’s new hubby, does not want Jack to be engaged in their twins’ lives, which will lead to another conflict. Paige is still on the lam, but she is determined to come clean. If she is sentenced to prison, her son Christopher will either be placed in foster care or be sent to live with her abusive ex-husband Wes, who appeared at the end of season three.
In the episode’s final seconds, a 19-year-old from Seattle arrives in town claiming to be Doc’s grandson and takes up Jack’s partnership offer. Lizzie focuses Ricky and Parker’s attention, but she has little faith in any of them following their prior transgressions.
