It’s no surprise that most of us live vicariously through our characters including the house that they live in.
I mean, who wouldn’t want a picturesque view to wake up to or live lavishly in a huge mansion alone? But what if we told you that you could live here?! It’s time to start saving up on that moolah if you want to live the same fantasy as your favourite characters.
Here to satiate those taste buds, we have compiled a list of our favourite homes from some of our favourite Netflix shows along with their market price, if ever you come across their listing in the real estate market.
- Otis’ and Jean Milburn’s home from Sex Education: If the earthy decor tones are not a selling point for you, the view outside is sure to blow your mind away. We don’t even recall looking at the characters during any balcony scenes, the location was just that enchanting. The current market value for the house is $2,453,315.63 with a monthly mortgage payment amounting to $9,791.42.
- Bojack’s house from BoJack Horseman: Probably the most sought-after house in the list with its ceiling to floor glass walls, pool, deck and a view overlooking the Hollywood, in real life, the overall value of the house amounts to a $5,995,000.00.
Unless you’re a famous actor in a 1990s family sitcom called Horsin’ Around and can afford a monthly mortgage of $25,586, I’m afraid the outlook does not look that good.
221B Baker Street from Sherlock: If you’re okay with surprise attacks, hysterical women showing up at your doorstep, police stopping by once a while and weird things in your refrigerator, this house is right up your alley!
Although the current London house has been converted to a museum but realistically if one were to buy 221B on Baker Street, the overall value is $3,428,195.22 with the monthly mortgage rounding off to $14,380.

- Pablo Escobar’s casa from Narcos: The actual estate of the Colombian drug lord was priced at $63 million in 1979 which included 24 artificial lake, airstrip, helipads, swimming pool, 500 seat bullfighting arena, concrete dinosaurs and a private zoo.
Nothing too fancy, at all. After his death, the property was torn apart by treasure seekers. Due to poor maintenance, the home is now demolished in Colombia.
