Hugh Grant cast as villain in Dungeons and Dragons movie

The well-known Hollywood actor Hugh Grant confirmed to play the antagonist role in enormously played Dungeons and Dragons film adaptation. Along with him in the lead role, we will see other stars like Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Sophia Lillis, Regé-Jean Page, and Justice Smith.

As per recent reports from the entertainment world, Hollywood star Hugh Grant has been roped to play the scoundrel role in the film adaptation of Dungeons and Dragons. D&D game is by Hasbro the growing game franchise from the Wizards of the Coast. 

The report also confirmed the other popular star cast going to feature in this new movie evaluation of the film. The main figures from the movie include Sophia Lillis, Regé-Jean Page, Michelle Rodriguez, Chris Pine, and Justice Smith. 

This movie adaptation will be directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley of Game Night. The complete storyline line will have amazing graphics and a storyline with twists and turns drafted by Michael Gilio.

WHAT’S DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS?

Dungeons and Dragons are listed among the vastly played games. The game is all about fantasy role-playing, war events, treasure hunting, campaigns, and the most important fickle fortune. 

Well, these are not something we are going to see in the movie adaptation. And unfortunately, the complete plot details of the Dungeons and Dragons film are still under wraps with no hints to the leakers. The production job will be handed to Hasbro and eOne in collaboration with Paramount. This collaboration confirms that the VFX and graphics in the movie will give it’s an edge. 

As we all know previously this popular game has been adapted for the big screen in the year 2000. The previous adaptation was starred Justin Whalin, Jeremy Irons, and Marlon Wayans who performed a bit poor than expected. 

Apart from this, the game is still popular among all age groups. To date, more than 40 million people across the entire globe have interacted with this game. The initial release of this game was around 46 years ago. 

The game gained huge popularity from its video games and live streams performed on different platforms like YouTube and Twitch.
