Hunters is an American originated crime drama web series which aired its first season on Amazon Prime on February 21, 2020. Created by David well and distributed by amazon prime, the series became a great hit by receiving a rating of 7.2 on IMDb.
There are a total of 10 episodes of the first season with each having a runtime of 50-60 min. Now for a little synopsis, the series involves a band of the Nazi hunters in 1977 who are living in new york.
Their main aim is to find the nazi war criminals who are aiming to create another rein of the nazis in Germany just like Adolf Hitler. There is a parallel plot that shows how the U.S. government used Operation paperclip to bring and reallocate thousands of German scientists ( many of them were Nazis) to the U.S. and provide them employment.
Hunters Season 1 received great reviews from the critics as they praise its plot, messages, actions, and sequences and mainly the great performances. but also receives criticism from the Auschwitz-Birkenau museum they tell that the series has shown the inaccurate use of the camp. however, after all this, the series managed to get 65% rating with 92 reviews on Rotten tomatoes. after this positivity, the question arises that whether there will be a season 2 of the Hunters?

As the season 1 of the Hunters showed a real Holocaust procedure that could have happened back then, and it was also claimed that Al Pacino’s series showed the violence to another level that is not yet possible. these controversies could impact the second installment and risk the future of the show. However, the show managed to get an IMDb rating of 7.2 and a great review from critics and the audiences. so, the eagerness and hype were already visible among fans for the second season of this crime drama series.
Talking about season 2, no official announcement has been made by the streaming giant Amazon prime on the renewal status and the release date of the second season.
So, it’s pretty tough to say when the second season is releasing and new episodes will come, especially with all going on with the world right now it could be delayed even more. But for a random guess, if Amazon renews the second part, then we could expect to see the second season in the 2021 end or the rise of 2022.
