Before season one had even ended, Invincible fans used the hashtag to promote season two on social media. All of the hard work seems to have paid off, as Amazon has renewed the show for a second and third season.

When will the second season of Invincible premiere?

For the time being, Amazon is staying quiet, but new episodes are expected to air in the first half of 2022. Invincible will avoid the production delays that plagued the majority of the television industry in 2020 and 2021 since it is animated.

Who’s in the cast of Invincible season 2?

Following the crazy finale, we hope to see the majority of the following characters return for season two of Invincible:

  • Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun) / Invincible
  • Sandra Oh in the role of Debbie Grayson
  • Nolan Grayson / Omni-Man (J. K. Simmons)
  • Robot (Zachary Quinto)
  • Rudy Connors, Robot’s new real body, is voiced by Ross Marquand.
  • Samantha Eve Wilkins / Atom Eve is played by Gillian Jacobs.
  • Rex Sloan / Rex Splode is played by Jason Mantzoukas.
  • Malese Jow in the role of Kate Cha / Dupli-Kate.
  • Grey Griffin as Shrinking Rae.
  • Black Samson is played by Khary Payton.
  • Cecil Stedman is played by Walton Goggins.
  • Allen the Alien is played by Seth Rogen.
  • Titan is played by Mahershala Ali.
  • The Mauler Twins are played by Kevin Michael Richardson.
  • William Clockwell is played by Andrew Rannells.
  • Amber Bennett is played by Zazie Beetz.
  • Art Rosenbaum is played by Mark Hamill.

Yes, after Mark discovered his secret, Omni-Man flew to a different galaxy, but Nolan would undoubtedly return in season two. His character is so important to this show that picturing future episodes without him is like picturing his face without that magnificent moustache. It isn’t true.

What will happen in the second season of Invincible?

Mark’s life has been forever changed as a result of all that happened in that gruesome finale. Omni-Man, his father, has ruined their family (along with half of Chicago). And, though he’s gone for the time being, Nolan will return with the Viltrumite race’s full might, hellbent on claiming Earth as part of their alien empire.

Cecil asks Mark to take his father’s place as Earth’s champion in the finale, and despite his initial reluctance, he eventually agrees. Meanwhile, he intends to complete high school, but given the impending risks, this could be difficult.

A number of Invincible’s other foes are also expected to return, in addition to the Viltrumite attack. Titan makes new friends in the final moments of season one, pink aliens take over Mars, and that white tiger guy is still around.

Cecil also risks it all by enlisting the help of that mad scientist to build new cyborg henchmen, ostensibly to stop Nolan when he returns.

Moving forward, Mark and Amber’s relationship seems to be solid once more, but it’s difficult to tell how long this will last. Let’s just hope William is reunited with his lover soon, too, because things between him and Rick didn’t go so well in season one.

When will we be able to see the second season of Invincible?

Season two footage isn’t expected until 2022, but in the meantime, it wouldn’t hurt to ask Damien Darkblood to investigate Amazon HQ.

Amazon Prime Video now has Invincible ready to watch.

The Walking Dead is broadcast on AMC in the United States and FOX in the United Kingdom. The show is also available on NOW in the United Kingdom.
