Is Bruce Willis back in the Die Hard business?!

The Die Hard franchise originally started in 1988 with the release of the action film of the same name following the adventures of the smart and handsome detective John McClane.

Unlike most of the action films of that time, Die Hard featured a not so muscular man as the lead and was very witty. This breath of fresh air led to the film being a huge success. The film has an IMDb score of 8.2/10 and 93% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Over the years, four new sequels to the film were released and it became less and less successful. The last film, A Good Day to Die Hard, was a complete disappointment and has only 14% on Rotten Tomatoes. Such disappointments forced the stalling of the franchise but fans still wanted more.

The Newest Update on the Franchise

Bruce Willis’s (the actor who played the role of John McClane) daughter Rumer Willis, recently shared a video on her Twitter titled I *insert heart emoji* John McClane. And it was the teaser of the newest movie and fans have been elated!

You can watch the trailer here-

To be honest, we’re still not sure if the movie will surely be released as there has not been any official announcement. But we believe that Bruce Willis will reply to this tweet soon enough.

Despite the uncertainty, fans have rejoiced. “Ironically, this 2-minute advert is superior to the entire duration of A Good Day to Die Hard.” one fan commented. Clearly, any sequel would be better than the last movie as it certainly hit the rock bottom.

Stay tuned with us and will update you as soon as we get the official notice. Until then, Yippee-ki-yay!

Even as a little girl, I was fascinated by words. The idea of stringing words together to form meaningful sentences which could alter the emotions of other human beings excited me. At first I wrote fiction. It gave me a chance to live the different lives I’ve always wanted to. The way my friends reacted when they read my story gave me the greatest of joys. As I grew older, I realised that there are thousands of stories of people around me that deserved to be told. Then I started incorporating their stories to my fictional stories. Over the time, I leaned more towards article writing. I have always felt that writing is my super power. A power I could wield to bring joy and comfort to me and the people I care about.
