It has already been observed that The Kingsman Franchise is very much involved in the fantasy world and have already proved that there might be chances for the resurrection of characters in the movie series. We are quite aware of Colin Firth’s resurrection in the movie Kingsman: The Golden Circle. Now, as the next movie in this franchise is just around the corner, the tech-wizard of the Golden Circle, Marc Strong has shown his interest in reprising his character Merlin in the upcoming third movie of the series.
Marc Strong can currently be found in Disney’s Cruella. While speaking to YouTube’s well known JoBlo, Marc was asked if there is any possibility of him returning in the next movie and letting audience know more about Merlin, to which he replied, “I would love to because I love making those movies, and I thought that triumvirate, that collection of me, Colin and Taron had been a great little gag, you know.”
When JoBlo asked about how he felt when Merlin died in The Golden Circle, Marc Strong replied, “I was quite sad. I think I saw a lot of people sad also when Merlin comes to his ‘dynamic end’ shall we say, at the end of the second one. I think there is a third one mooted and you know, that universe, anything can happen as you well know” he added and showed his interest by saying, “I mean, Colin got shot in the eye. He comes back and he’s fine. So, you know, it’s fantasy. I’m not ruling it out.”
The King’s Man Movie is set to release on 20th August, 2021.
