We are assuming that you may have just finished watching Mortal Kombat on HBO Max and you are all the more excited to rip a human heart out of someone’s chest and must have been reeling from that insane ending. Oh! There’s just so much to talk about, isn’t it? The ending does set up a great bae to start off with Mortal Kombat Season 2.
The 2021 film is nothing but a reboot of the 1995 Mortal Kombat film which again received a sequel due to its immense popularity just two years later, after its theatrical release. The sequel was named Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. What a dark concept! The movie released back in 1997 as the sequel of the first one. Now, we are in the 21st century and with the new release of the inspired concept, we are looking forward to following the same as it did earlier.
A character had been teased in the final moments of the prequel. And yes, we are not here to spoil the same for you but we do hope that fans of Mortal Kombat are in a position to recognize the exact character which was pointed to in the final moments. Does it mean that Cole Young (played by Lewis Tan) is all set to return back in Season 2? Again, we have not spoiled anything for you if you haven’t seen the ending of Season 1.
Talking about the sequel, there has not been any official word out about Mortal Kombat Season 2 but we do know about the fact that Warner Bros. were in the belief of giving more such Mortal Kombat movies a try if the first one manages to become a massive hit. And guess what, it does seem to have been qualified.
