Paul Rudd’s character is coming back soon in the spotlight with Evangeline Lilly’s Hope Van Dyne in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. They aren’t the only familiar faces taking part in the threequel but also there is a talk about T.I., who has been a part of the Ant-Man film series since the beginning, won’t be returning this time in the upcoming movie.
What are the updates and news?
According to The Hollywood Reporter, T.I has not been cast to reprise in the upcoming Ant-Man movie. This was updated when T.I and his wife, Tiny Harris were accused of sexual abuse and drugging women for more than a decade. But their legal counsel claims that all these accusations are baseless. However, it is not clear if T.I’s exit from Ant-Man 3 is decided due to all these accusations or it was already decided.
Matter of accusations!!
Multiple women sent their allegations to California and Georgia attorneys concerning T.I and Tiny Harris. According to Blackburn, these women told about the sexual abuse, forced ingestion of illegal drugs, kidnapping, terroristic threats, and false imprisonment in detail.
T.I’s exclusion from Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania made a month after VH1 suspended the production of his series, T.I & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle after the claims of sexual abuse put on them.
With T.I out of the Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania and the confirmation about the reprise of other characters, we just need to wait to see whether Dastmalchian’s Kurt will be back or not. Further details about the movie are not officially given out by Marvel Studios due to the ongoing controversy and conflicts. But Ant-Man 3 was decided to happen back in 2019 and is much awaited by the fans.
