JARED LETO IS REPORTEDLY REPRISING HIS ROLE AS THE JOKER IN ZACK SNYDER'S 'JUSTICE LEAGUE'

Reports have it that Oscar winner, Jared Leto who played the villain in David Ayer’s 2016 anti-hero ensemble Suicide Squad, is coming back as Joker for Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League. 

Warner Bros made an announcement that the original version of the movie filmed by the filmmaker, Zack Snyder prior to his departure from the project, will debut on HBO Max in 2021.

The movie, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, being overseen by the streamer financing the new round of shooting will air as a four-episode event series next year.

Other actors who are also shooting for the project together with Leto are Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher, and Amber Heard. 

In another news, Jon Berg and Geoff Johns, who were producers of the film, have intentions of cutting ties and pulling out from the Snyder cut.

They both were executives in Warner Bros but have for quite some time, left the studio and are no longer connected with Warner Bros. The two have also recently been called by Fisher for enabling abuse and misconduct by filmmaker, Joss Whedon on the set of the 2017 movie.
