The Joker is the most charmed character, and it is played by some of Hollywood’s well-known actors for decades. Starting from Jack Nicholson in The Batman, then Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight, and then Joaquin Phoenix in the Joker, and now we have Jared Leto. He is the only actor who has got a second chance to portray this character, all thanks to Zack Snyder’s Justice League. He has taken the center-stage with his exceptional performance, and this is the reason why he is getting another chance to play the Joker.
Soon after the release of Snyder Cut on HBO last week, Snyder announced that he is going to make Joker with Leto.
Zack Snyder is planning the studio for more of Jared Leto’s Joker
Snyder Cut proved to be a re-birth for both Snyder and Leto as in 2017, Snyder left the production of the original Justice League due to the death of his daughter, after which Joss Whedon took over.
On the other hand, Leto also didn’t get the expected response from Joker in 2016’s Suicide Squad. Even the director of the film, David Ayer, tweeted that Leto gave a magnificent performance in the film, and his heart breaks because it is unseen.
What is different about Jared Leto’s two Jokers?
Both Snyder and Leto worked upon giving a new shape to the Joker after Suicide Squad and decided to tone down a bit for Snyder’s Cut. This time they gave it a darker look. Just like all other actors who gave award-winning performances for Joker’s character, Leto is also undoubtedly capable of the same.
Leto says that his new character is an evolution, he adds that different directors bring out different sides of your character.
In the Suicide Squad, Joker had short and slightly neon green hair, and his body was covered with several loud tattoos, but in the Justice League, his hair grew longer and slightly darker green, whereas all the tattoos just disappeared out of nowhere. These changes gave the villain a sadder look.
After seeing Leto’s performance in the recently released Justice League fans are excited about the upcoming movie featuring their favorite DC villain.
