Jessica Mulroney is back to celebrate after seeing some hard times when she was accused of “textbook white privilege” and faced rumours that she and her bff were on the outs. The 40 year old Canadian stylist took on social media to say that she has found the silver lining in her ordeal and wrote, “We finally know the a–holes who we thought were our friends.”
She gave a message on social media along with the picture of herself and her husband kissing on Friday. Her husband Ben Mulroney is a TV host and the son of Canada’s former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney. She wrote, “After a few rough months, something to FINALLY celebrate. Thank you for being by my side Benny. Thank you to our true friends for sticking by us. We could have never made it without you.”
It is still unclear as to what this celebration was about. It came to our knowledge that she had taken offense when she encouraged her followers to speak up regarding the Black Lives Matter movement which was wrongly assumed and the prompt got directed towards her specifically and a very problematic behavior got exhibited which turned out in a written threat.
She later issued an apology and moved away from social media. Due to allegations, Good Morning America also cut ties with her. Markle was mortified by the accusations against her and that their friends were on the rocks.
She wrote on Instagram that, “I’m going to tell this once and for all. Meghan and I are family. She is the kindest friend and has checked up on me every day.” A source told that Meghan “has stood by [Mulroney] privately and they’ve talked a lot. Jess was loyal to Meghan for many, many years. There was no way that Meg would let her down.”
