On Monday, Joe Biden made his first appearance in more than two months, celebrating Memorial Day through laying a wreath at a veterans’ park in a park near his home in Delaware.

After canceling a rally on March 10 in Cleveland, due to the fast-spreading pandemic of COVID-19, and he has made the most of his campaign from his home in Wilmington. When Biden came out on Monday, he wore a mask.

However, earlier President Donald Trump refused to hide his face in public. He refused to wear a mask even after the suggestion of health officials. 

But Biden greeted another officer and another man for a moment, each wearing a mask. All of them maintained social distancing.

Biden also greeted to his followers who were standing nearby by saying thanks for their service.

Well, Biden has regularly visited the park in the past, although services were canceled on Wednesday. COVID-19 has changed more or less every aspect of American life. 

The pandemic also changed the voting situation. As a senator and former vice president, Biden is trying to position himself as experienced and determined to lead the country out of the crisis.

Trump estimates that he will be the leader in economic security later this year or the upcoming year. Besides that, according to President Trump, he should win to build a strong economy again in America.

Hence, according to his view, as unemployment rises to a record high, he is the one who can handle the situation.

 The event was a milestone in the presidential campaign that was conditioned by COVID-19 outbreaks.

For example, the possibility of traditional events such as rallies and presidential gatherings is not possible until the vaccine is available.

However, Biden’s presence in public shows that he will not stay home for the will make some election rally maintaining social distancing in the next five months.
