It is common knowledge to Spongebob Square pants fans that the creator of this beloved TV series Stephen Hillenburg never wanted a spin-off for the show, especially the one where the characters are aged down. With his death in 2018, it was announced that there will be a movie showing glimpses of Spongebob’s past.
The movie was called “The Spongebob Movie: Spongebob on the Run”. The movie was released on 14 August 2020 was quite a success.

But it turns out, the movie was released mainly as a prequel to an upcoming show called “Kamp Koral” featuring a “10-year-old SpongeBob SquarePants and his pals spend the summer building underwater campfires, catching wild jellyfish, and swimming in Lake Yuckymuck.” In this, we will see how Patrick, Sandy, Squidward, Plankton, and Mr. Krabs for the first time! The show is supposed to be released next year.
