Kanye West Shares Blunt Thoughts About Disney’s Star Wars Movies

Kayne West has never been the man to hide his unpopular opinion about pop culture. So many were not surprised to hear his views on the newer additions to the Star Wars franchise but it still hurts the common belief of the fans.

In the recent interview he did on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast, he said that “And this is about to make me mad, right here, the first time you’ve seen me get mad in an interview. They said that George Lucas’ prequels were worse than the corporate-made Disney Star Wars. Revenge of the Sith? We saw how Darth Vader was made! I watched that like 10 times during COVID. ‘Don’t jump Anakin, I’ve got the high ground!’ (You can watch the full interview here-

Though, this is not what the mainstream audience think, it is also not the kind of opinion we have never heard of. He went on to say that the original Star Wars movies by George Lucas are unbeatable and the newest spin offs by corporate companies could never be near it. (George Walton Lucas Jr. is an American film director, producer, screenwriter, and entrepreneur. Lucas is best known for creating the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises and founding Lucasfilm, LucasArts, and Industrial Light & Magic.)

His point of view is understandable given the fact that he grew up in the 80’s watching the originals as a child. We can all agree that no movie’s improvisations are better than the original ones we experienced in our childhood.

Even as a little girl, I was fascinated by words. The idea of stringing words together to form meaningful sentences which could alter the emotions of other human beings excited me. At first I wrote fiction. It gave me a chance to live the different lives I’ve always wanted to. The way my friends reacted when they read my story gave me the greatest of joys. As I grew older, I realised that there are thousands of stories of people around me that deserved to be told. Then I started incorporating their stories to my fictional stories. Over the time, I leaned more towards article writing. I have always felt that writing is my super power. A power I could wield to bring joy and comfort to me and the people I care about.
