Surprise! Captain Kathryn Janeway (Kate Mulgrew), the first female voyager captain will be back in Star Trek: Prodigy of Nickelodeon’s upcoming anime series.
This amazing news was unveiled in New York Comic Con which is held virtually during Star Trek Universal virtual panel on Thursday.
Kate Mulgrew has played the character of Kathryn Janeway for an astonishing 170 episodes on the Star Trek:
Voyager from 1995 to 2001, now she will be reprising the Captain character again in Star Trek: Prodigy in 2021, an animated series on Nickelodeons and CBS Studio.
Kate is supposed to be better in the captain’s role again as she will inspire the next-gen of dreamers on Nickelodeons.
The co-stars with Kate Mulgrew for this upcoming and amazing new anime series would be Robert Beltran, Roxann Dawson, Jennifer Lien, Robert Duncan McNeill, and Jeri Ryan.

As per Alex Kurtzman, executive producer of Star Trek, Captain Janeway was portrayed way different than her predecessors as she was pushed to achieve inhuman perfection just to be accepted to be good enough by the challengers to her and she truly justified outstandingly the place she was enrolled to.
To inspire the next-gen, she will be the best captain for the upcoming generation who like Nickelodeon.
