Apart from directing movies Kevin also has vast knowledge on the Marvel, DC and Star Wars movies.
Speaking of Star Wars, Kevin’s favorite moment of the franchise is from the movie named Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. It is the scene that shows C-3PO explaining the stories of episode 4 and 5 of star wars which are Star Wars: New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back respectively. According to Kevin what makes this scene special is the fact that through C-3PO’s telling of the story of these two movies to the Ewoks.
The scene helps the others in the movie to reflect upon the things they have accomplished and the Ewoks symbolize devoted fans, always eager to hear stories about their heroes and heroines. I love the scene in RETURN OF THE JEDI when C-3PO re-tells the stories of Episodes 4 and 5. Not only are the Ewoks as captivated as we fans with the highlights of the epic space opera, the heroes get to hear their story retold and for a moment, appreciate how far they’ve come. pic.twitter.com/oHSjj38bUY
