Killing Eve is one of the best and highly acclaimed British tele series to date in black comedy-drama spy thriller genre produced in the United Kingdom by Sid Gentle Films for BBC America and BBC iPlayer. This series is based on a book named Villanelle’s novel series, written by Luke Jennings and is highly successful in the UK and USA alike.
If you are reading this, that means you are already aware of some of its plots and excitement filled classic storyline since its premiere on 8th April 2018 on BBC America and 15th September 2018 on BBC iPlayer. It has won many accolades for many reasons particularly for its storyline writing and lead actresses’ performance. Awards list starts from Peabody Award and the British Academy Television Award for Best Drama Series. Even actors got many awards in various categories.
The makers of this thriller have not yet confirmed any dates for the release of Season 4, as its productions have not started due to the global pandemic challenges all around. Hence the plot is not so predictable at this point in time and still, there is no trailer to be shown soon. But it’s interesting to know that Season 4 is renewed even before season 3 was even aired. From this, you can easily deduce the huge adult fan-following of this series.
In the previous season, some of the main characters are already dead namely Kenny, Carolyn’s son & Eve’s Husband Nico. Nico’s death is still a mystery and he might come back to life too… We need to wait for some more time to get this story uncovered.
Also, Villanelle (international female assassin) and Eve (who works with British Intelligence Agency) are seen together again at the end of season 3, where there is a trail for the upcoming twist where Villanelle’s ex might come back with some revengeful unfortunate events. In the previous seasons, both of them starts focussing more on other’s work and less on their own tasks at hand.
The cast might remain the same as Season 3 with some addition of new roles and removal of some, as per the plotting plan of the storyline. The cast can be Jodie Comer as Villanelle, Sandra Oh as Eve, Fiona Shaw as Carolyn, Kim Bodnia as Konstantin, Gemma Whelan as Carolyn’s daughter Geraldine, and Camille Cottin as Hélène.
As this strong story is about the relation of an International Assassin and a British intelligence officer, the storyline will take all time new twists and turns and no one can actually predict for sure that what is going to happen next but one thing is sure that their respective agencies and their close relative or friends are going to interfere in their relationship which will change it forever (either or good or bad).
So, sit tight and wait a little longer for its official announcements. We are sure it is worth the wait. Stay tuned to further updates from our end.
