The co-creator of the most famous cartoon series, Rick and Morty is all set to launch its first ever blockchain animated series called Krapopolis. This series is set in mythical ancient Greece, basically an animated comedy. With the current trends of cryptocurrencies and Non-Fungible tokens (NFTs), this series is entirely curated on blockchain.

With the shifting interest of the world in cryptocurrencies, the creators of Krapopolis are trying to induce interest among fans by NFTs which are created by the same technology as cryptocurrency. “The company will launch a dedicated marketplace for ‘Krapopolis‘ that will curate and sell digital goods, ranging from NFTs of one-of-a-kind character and background art, and GIFs, as well as tokens that provide exclusive social experiences to engage and reward super fans,” Fox said in its announcement on Monday as it is launching its own NFT company, Blockchain Creative Labs.

The Emmy-award winner, Dan Harmon created the series and it is produced by Fox Entertainment. Krapopolis is fully owned and financially scripted by Fox productions. As it is reported, this animated comedy tells the story of “a flawed family of humans, gods and monsters who are trying to run the world’s first cities, without killing each other.” Although, as Fox Entertainment enters the blockchain sector it receives more criticism in the marketing world.

This new solo series by Dan Harmon is expected to premiere sometime in 2022.
