Legacies is a popular American drama series for teens. And the show is about how these teens balance their academic and their supernatural struggle at school for young and gifted. The CW has announced the launch of season 3 of Legacies is in 2020 January.
And this season would be a spin-off of both The Vampire Diaries and The Originals. Since the pandemic has taken its toll, episode 16 of season 2 has become the impromptu finale of the season.
This was indeed an unexpected way of ending a season. Still, there were enough dramas and twists with a good cliffhanger.

Legacies Season 3: Cast
Since this season is a spin-off of both The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, we can expect a blend of characters from all the three shows.
Still, now is too early to predict characters from the former shows. But definitely the cast will include, Danielle Rose Russell as Hope Mikaelson. Aria Shahghasemi as Landon Kirby, Jennie Boyd as Lizzie Saltzman. Kaylee Bryant as Josie Saltzman. Matt Davis as Alaric Saltzman.
Legacies Season 3: Release date
Legacies Season 3 is expected to premiere on early 2021, probably January. But the former two seasons were out during the month of October. Official Twitter handle revealed it by tweeting “There are more monsters to fight. #Legacies has been renewed for season 3”. The first look Legacies season 3 is here.
Legacies Season 3: Plot
We all have been equally desperate to get updates of Season 3 of the show. Since the production team has been suspended due to COVID-19 pandemic, even now is too early for speculations. And we are still on the verge of suspense and not so sure what and who to expect on this season.
However, there are a lot to expect from this season of Legacies for two reason. One is season 2 had an impromptu finale, how they would round up and compensate it yet to be watched and the thought is giving us jitters. Reason 2 is obviously the spin-off cast of seasons 3.
So it is going to be a real thrill of the fans.
