Created by Julie Plec and narrated by Danielle Rose Russell, Legacies is a dark fantasy supernatural drama television series that was first telecasted on October 25, 2018, with sixteen episodes.
It is a by-series of the ‘Originals’ with flavors of new and old.
The CW renewed the series in January 2019 for a second season and as per the schedules it was premiered in October 2019 again with planned sixteen episodes.
This year in January the series was renewed by CW for a season three which is planned for a premiere in 2021 January.
But looking at the current dynamics where coronavirus is ruling everything and deciding the fate, we expect the series to be delayed.
The precautions and social distancing norms to be followed can one of the possible reasons for the delay in the series. Thinking on a positive line we just might see it on time, who knows.
We will see Danielle Rose Russell of The Vampire Diaries. Playing the character of 17-year-old Hope Mikaelson which is a continuation of character she played in the fifth and final season of The Originals.
A renewed role of Matt Davis as Alaric Saltzman from the Vampire Diaries will also be seen.
Apart from these, we will get to see Aria Shahghasemi as Landon Kirby, Kaylee Bryant as Josie Saltzman, Jenny Boyd as Lizzie Saltzman, Quincy Fouse as Milton “MG” Greasley, Peyton Alex Smith as Rafael With and Chris Lee as Kaleb (season 2 recurring seasons 1–2).
Season three of Legacies should show ups and downs in the tale of Salvatore schools. This school imparts knowledge to supernatural beings and trains them to control their capability and urge. Everyone from witches, werewolves, and other supernatural beings come here to learn.
This unique style of drama has fetched a lot of appreciation and has attracted fans to the series. As of now, there is no more insight into the series as there is no trailer available.
We will come back with more news and insight into the series. Till then keep watching television series and stay safe.
