Well, here I am with the insights of American science fiction action film based on a 2004 Japanese film light novel named All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka and released on May 30, 2014, with a title Edge of Tomorrow. By earning great success, now the director Doug Liman is heading toward the second series of this film.
Storyline
The storyline showcases the future timelines where most part of Europe is attacked by a group of aliens. The last season was ended in the favour of Major Cage who defeated all the aliens, and gets back to the time. He comes to know that all invasions have been stopped and goes to Ritu Vrataski, but she can’t recognize him as she didn’t meet him in that period.
There is no official statement about the plot of the upcoming sequel but we are predicting that keen-sighted director will bring up the sequel that is going to be more thrilling, intriguing, and exciting.

The answer is Yes, we all will definitely get the sequel of this show as in 2015, Tom Cruise shared some ideas regarding the sketch of second season and in 2019, it was reported that the script-writing was also completed.
However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the production has not yet started because of which there is no official release date announced by the director. But as per the information and situation, it is very clear that its second season will not be aired till the end of 2021 or the beginning of 2022.
