Season 2 of Locke and Key, based on the best-selling comic books co-created by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez, is coming to Netflix. Season 1 introduced us to the Locke family, who were searching for a fresh start and relocated to Keyhouse, a lovely old ancestral mansion. They thought that by coming here, they would be able to cope with the death of their family patriarch Rendall Lock and adjust to a new life in a faraway place.
They immediately learned, however, that they faced even larger challenges after discovering mysterious keys connected to Rendall’s death. The plot follows widow Nina Locke and her children as they struggle to find out what to do following Rendall’s death, experiencing danger along the way.
Season 2 will take up after the dramatic events of Season 1, which saw the family attacked by malicious demons on the hunt for the keys to Rendall’s demise. Is anyone secure now that their identities have been altered and their lives are in jeopardy?

Updates on Story
The plot is intended to pick up where the first season left off. The Lockes have been outwitted by the devil, who appeared in the first season as Dodge, Lucas, and Gabe. Not only must the Locke family deal with the reality that they were duped into tossing Ellie into the vacuum beyond the Omega Door by the demon, but Eden appears to be under the power of the demon as well.
Expect a lot more doors, keys, and devils everywhere. Actor Connor Jessup hinted what more keys we could see in season 2 on Instagram, but for fear of spoilers, he covered up the new keys that will appear:

Other aspects from the comics might appear as well, but when it comes to translating the original material, Hill and Rodriguez aren’t afraid to make modifications. “It needs to function as a TV program,” Hill told Entertainment Weekly when asked about Sam Lesser’s limited involvement and the blending of two main keys in season 1. “It must succeed within the constraints and potential of its own specific shape.” We were always keen to make the comic successful as a comic, and there were things we could do that you couldn’t do in any other media.
Is there any Trailer?
