For a second season, Loki has been announced to be back.
In the season 1 finale, which was broadcast on Wednesdays during a mid-course scene, the Disney+ series, which stars Tom Hiddleston as a temporal variant for the god of mischief (July 14).
In the scene, before a person stamps Loki with a message exposing season 2, the variant case file is displayed. In red capital letters, the stamp reads, “Loki is going back in season 2.” A second season has been rumoured recently after Production Weekly reports suggesting that in January 2022, the show would start to be filmed again.
There is still no release date for the series return. The premiere episode of the new Disney+ streaming platform set a new record of an estimated 731 million vision minutes. Loki was a hit for Disney+.
Also starring in the first season were Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Owen Wilson and Sophia Di Martino. In a recent interview, Richard E Grant, who was featured as Classic Loki, remarked, “Will it not say no” to a comeback from MCU, if asked. Season 1 is only streaming on Disney+.
