Here is good news for Lucifer’s fan. After the immense success and popularity of Lucifer season 1 to 5 with 75 episodes, here “The God of Hell” is back with its season 6. The shooting of the American television series has already started on 6th October 2020.
The great news has been shared by Joe Henderson, co-showrunner of Lucifer on Twitter. He confirmed that season 6 will be the finale season and the fantasy drama series is in production.
The news is just excitement with a pinch of thrill!!!
Enthusiasm was taking over Joe when he shared the news on social media about the first day of their shooting. The team seemed so happy after winding up of season 5. And they were so busy burning the candles from both ends to finish the production.
He was very thankful to the whole cast and crew for making this possible and to deliver the kickass finale.

The fans must be thinking about the cast and character of the series. So, produced by Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich, the cast would be going to remain the same- Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar, Lauren German as Detective Chloe Decker, Kevin Alejandro as Detective Daniel Espinoza, with many more including one more cast, Mark Sheppard.
It is been gauged that Mark Sheppard will be going to play a vital role in season 6 too. He also approached Joe Henderson for the role in season 4 but unfortunately, he was not able to get the role.
Fantasy drama series fans always wanted that Mark Sheppard must act in ‘Lucifer’ after seeing his role in The Supernatural portraying the role of ‘Crowley’ or ‘The King of Hell’. The desperation of fans to star Sheppard in Lucifer was seen when they filed the petition to do so.
Season 5 of Lucifer was released into two halves- one has been released in August on Netflix and the other has not been released yet. This is probably due to the production delay because of the novel coronavirus.
