Following its hit, a sequel to the movie, “Machete Kills” was released featuring Lady Gaga along with the leads of the original film, Danny Trejo and MIchelle Rodriguez. You can watch the trailer of the movie here-
Will there be a third movie?
By the end of “Machete Kills” we were shown a short clip titled “Machete Kills in Space”. This led many to assume that this may in fact be the title of the third movie. Though there has not been any official announcement regarding the sequel, Danny Trejo did not say that there won’t be a sequel when asked about it in an interview.
Cast of “Machete Kills in Space”
We can surely expect Danny Trejo’s return as he is the heart and soul of this project. We will also be seeing Michelle Rodriguez as Luz, Sofia Vergara as Madame Desdemona. But there hasn’t been any announcement regarding any new additions.
Plot of the upcoming movie
Like the title suggests, we will see our favourite fighter in space. In the last film we saw how the POTUS sent Machete to space to kill the Mexican drug dealer, the Evil Man in Silver Mask. As the whole point of the franchise is to be outrageous, we can only expect such plots from the franchise.
