In the next years, the Marvel Cinematic Universe will continue to grow in several significant ways, including through Disney+ programming. Currently, the streaming service offers three live-action and one animated series from the popular superhero franchise, and there will be many more to come shortly.

New information from The Wrap reveals that Marvel Studios is reportedly planning a Halloween special based on Werewolf by Night for Disney+. A Latino male actor in his 30s is apparently “actively sought.” Filming is expected to start in early 2022.

Marvel Studios is presently hiring actors for their untitled Halloween Special, which will show on Disney+ next year. To begin production in early 2022, the company is looking for a Latino male in his 30s.

When it came to the first one (Jack Russell), it was part of a long-running series that lasted 43 issues and featured the character Moon Knight, who will get his Disney+ series starring Oscar Isaac in 2022. Then, last year, a new version of the character surfaced.

In addition to the live-action Wandavision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, and their first animated series What If?, Marvel Studios has had significant success with its other Disney+ shows based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

The Guardians of the Galaxy holiday special, written and directed by James Gunn, was recently completed and is scheduled to air at Christmas next year. It’s a blast,” Gunn said in a statement last month. “Those words were written a couple of months ago, and I’m ecstatic about them. A good holiday special, I believe.”

Additionally, based on the sets used, he hinted at a possible crossover between the special and Guardians 3. While Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, due to hit theatres next March, will have Doctor Strange unleashing horrific evil, this is Marvel’s first excursion into horror-type themes.

According to Marvel, filming on Blade, which follows Blade as he travels the world hunting vampires to avenge his mother, will begin in July 2022. Featuring Mahershala Ali, it will add more mystical elements to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
