The upcoming film ‘The Batman’ has finally wrapped up production, according to Hollywood filmmaker Matt Reeves.

As per the Deadline, Reeves took his Twitter handle and tweet that, “#LastDay #TheBatman cc: @GreigfraserD,” along with a shoutout to his accomplished director of photography. Sometimes later, the director had retweeted one among his cast members Jeffrey Wright, sharing a fan art based on his character in the film, Gotham Police Commissioner James Gordon.

Robert Pattinson will feature in the role of the Batman in the DC version titled ‘The Batman’. The movie will also be featuring stars as Colin Farrell, Zoe Kravitz, Andy Serkis, John Turturro, Paul Dano, Barry Keoghan, and Peter Sarsgaard. As of now the plot details are still a mystery and the film is scheduled to be hit the cinemas on March 4, 2022.

Although the filming started in London in January 2020 the producers had to face complications during the corona virus lockdown, resulting in a break of five and a half months, starting from March 2020.

After resuming in September, they continued for a brief period before again packing up for a few weeks, after Pattinson tested positive for COVID.

We have come to know that HBO Max is planning on a Batman prequel series, featuring Joe Barton as the star, after the exit of Terence Winter in November
