Michael B. Jordan, the star of ‘Black Panther,’ is expected to make a superhero film, Static Shock. This film is the adaptation of Reginald Hudlin’s comic book, which was presented during the DC fandom event.

What are the updates for this?

Emmy’s candidate signed the film via his Production Outlier Society based in Warner Bros. “I am excited to be interested in creating a modern world of Black superheroes; it’s worth our culture,” Jordan said in an announcement. The actor posted a Static Comic book cover after the announcement and branded the image with a flicker bolt.

Static character, also named Virgil Hawkins, a young man with electromagnetic abilities, is transformed into a superhero. Milestone Media and DC Comics developed this character in the 1990s. The character superhero was first recognized in an animated series of the same name in the early 2000s, but the film remains the first animated show featuring a Black leading figure.
