One of the world’s best criminal-drama is returning with the third chapter of Mindhunter. We know many of you are waiting for the series to land the next chapter. Here we are with the complete update on the show.

The series is inspired by the same titular book: Mindhunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit which was written by Mark Olshaker and John E. Douglas. The story of Mindhunter revolves around two Federal agents namely, Bill Tench and Holden Ford. The two officers work along with a psychologist named Wendy Carr. They all are appointed to take care of the operations in the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit.
The same is a division of the FBI Academy.The main work of all these characters is to interview the professional serial killers and read their observations. The criminal mind works distinctly to accomplish the notorious conduct. The observations help the federal officers to solve the new criminal cases. Wendy Carr helps them with every case and plays a pivotal role in the story.
The release date for Mindhunter Season 3
There has been no official announcement for the third edition from the streaming channel, Netflix’s end. Don’t feel disheartened. The outspread of the novel coronavirus had forced the world to stop for a while. Thus, Netflix has kept the announcement and trailers of the show at hold.
We are expecting the official announcement of the third edition of Mindhunter might take place in the upcoming months. The trailer may drop by the end of 2020 or the beginning of the next year. The release date would be somewhere around mid-2020.
The cast of Mindhunter Season 3
The pivotal cast will remain as it is and there are no changes updated till now. Jonathan Groff will once again essay the character of Holden Ford. McCallany will be seen as Bill Tench. And, Anna Torv would be seen reading the mind of the criminals as Wendy Carr.
The new faces that would shine in season three are Hannah Gross playing as Debbie Mitford and Cotter Smith is seen as Robert Shepard. There are more names that would enter the show, but the list is kept under wraps.
